1.Fault repair (including maintenance): The vendor shall, from the day following the award of the contract until December 31, 2028, ensure that the 12 X-ray baggage inspection machines and 9 metal detection gates are kept in good condition and operate normally.(1)Fault Maintenance: Before December 31, 2028, unlimited maintenance will be carried out for 12 X-ray baggage inspection machines and 9 metal detection gates.(2)Maintenance: Between the years 2015 and 2017, complete maintenance on 12 X-ray luggage inspection machines and 9 metal detector gates at least twice every six months (first half of the year: by June 20; second half of the year: by December 20); the interval between each maintenance session must be no less than 30 days; the interval for the last maintenance of each half-year period must not be less than 180 days.(3)After the manufacturer receives the 'Fault Report Form' (Appendix 1) from the user unit, they should indicate the date and time of receipt on the form, and either stamp it with the company's received stamp or sign it with the date and time noted. The day following the receipt is considered the first day of repair.(4)Upon receiving a notification, the vendor should respond to the Coast Guard within 4 hours [during regular working hours from 8:00 to 17:00 daily]. If it is past 17:00, the response should be made during the next regular working hours. Except for controlled parts and luggage conveyors, the vendor should complete repairs within 3 calendar days from the day after receiving the agency's notice (in writing or by fax).(5)For malfunctions of regulated parts (such as X-ray tubes and X-ray controllers), the manufacturer must complete repairs within 30 calendar days from the day after receiving notification from the agency (in writing or by fax). For luggage conveyor belts, repairs must be completed within 15 calendar days.2.Radiation Inspection: From 115 to 117, the authority issued notifications (in writing or by fax) to the manufacturers before September 1 each year to conduct radiation safety tests once for each of the 12 X-ray baggage inspection machines and 3 handheld X-ray machines (Appendix 5). Additionally, from 115 to 117, by the end of October each year, all radiation safety test reports were submitted to the authority for record.3.Others: The contractor shall, within 20 days from the day following the award of the contract, submit in writing a roster of maintenance and inspection personnel (at least 2 people, including their names, dates of birth, ID numbers, and addresses) along with copies of their valid licenses issued by the Nuclear Safety Commission for the agency’s record. Additionally, if there are any changes in the maintenance and inspection personnel, the contractor shall submit the updated roster in writing to the agency for record before carrying out any of the labor tasks.
